Rabbit goulash with sauce
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I suggest serving it hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Separate the meat from the bones, cut it into small pieces, and soak it in cold water for about 1 hour.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes. Sauté in a pan with vegetable oil.
- 3
Step 3

After about 5 minutes, when the onion begins to brown slightly, add the peeled and minced garlic. Fry for just 1-2 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

Drain the water in which the meat was soaked. Rinse the meat and squeeze out the excess liquid. Place the meat into the pan with the onion and garlic.
- 5
Step 5

Add paprika and dried herbs to the meat. Mix well and cook until lightly golden.
- 6
Step 6

Sprinkle the browned meat with flour, mix and fry for a minute.
- 7
Step 7

Add tomato paste, mix well. Fry for another minute.
- 8
Step 8

Add salt, pour in about 1 cup of water, and simmer covered for about 25 minutes over low heat.
- 9
Step 9

Occasionally stir the goulash, as the sauce will thicken and may burn. Add bay leaves to the goulash, mix well, and remove the goulash from the heat. After a minute or two, it can be served.
