
Chicken Gizzard Goulash

Clean the chicken gizzards and rinse them thoroughly. Cover with slightly salted water and cook until done. This will take approximately 1.5 hours.

When the gizzards are cooked, drain off almost all the broth, leaving just a couple of tablespoons.

Pour tomato juice or diluted tomato paste over the gizzards.

Peel the onion and slice it into half-rings. Add the onion to the gizzards and mix. Cook over medium heat.

Add salt and pepper to taste. You can add some herbs. Cook for about 25 minutes.
