Goulash for a child
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Tender and juicy meat with a thick sauce and mashed potatoes… do you remember this dish from your childhood? It's often served at daycare centers, and many children ask their parents to make it at home. The recipe for your child's goulash is very simple and requires minimal ingredients. You should use lean meat and avoid adding the spices traditionally used in classic goulash. All steps are described in detail in this recipe. The finished dish can now be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

For children's goulash, it's better to use lean meat. Wash it and cut into small pieces.
- 2
Step 2

Peel and chop the onion.
- 3
Step 3

Lightly sauté the onion in heated vegetable oil.
- 4
Step 4

Then add the meat to the onion and fry together until all the liquid has completely evaporated.
- 5
Step 5

When the meat begins to brown slightly, add about a glass of water, cover with a lid, and simmer over low heat until almost cooked. When the meat is nearly done, season it with salt and pepper.
- 6
Step 6

Dilute the tomato paste in 100 ml of water, then add the flour and mix thoroughly to avoid lumps. Then add more water to make a full glass of sauce.

Step 7

Pour the resulting sauce into the pan with the meat, stirring until the gravy thickens. Add the bay leaf, let the goulash simmer for about 7-8 minutes, then remove from the heat.
