1. Prepare the ingredients. For the traditional pie, you need red curd cheese. Cook the rice and three eggs in advance.

2. Prepare the dough. Dissolve the yeast in water, then add softened butter, eggs, and sugar. Knead until smooth, then let it rise in a warm place until doubled in volume.

3. Now divide the dough into two parts – one slightly larger and one smaller. Use the larger part to make the base for the pie with edges.

4. Transfer the base to a mold, smooth the edges, and level the layer of rice.

6. Grate boiled eggs on a coarse grater and sprinkle over the top of the pie.
