Guacamole with tomatoes
Description
Minimal ingredients — excellent result. Making guacamole at home is easy, as all the sauce ingredients can be found at any supermarket. The dish's consistency is not quite typical for a sauce, as it is more of a dip (or spread). Guacamole is usually served chilled, with nachos (Mexican chips). The sauce is ready. Store it in the refrigerator and serve with dishes.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use large pink or red tomatoes. The main thing is to choose meaty varieties, not juicy ones.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the avocado in half and remove the peel and pit. Dice the flesh and place it in a deep container.
- 3
Step 3

Peel the red onion, rinse it in water, and chop half of it into cubes the same size as the avocado, then add to the container.
- 4
Step 4

Rinse the cherry tomatoes in water and cut them into cubes. If you are preparing guacamole with large tomatoes, remove their cores.
- 5
Step 5

Season the dish with salt and pepper, add lemon juice and vegetable oil: corn, olive, or sunflower.
- 6
Step 6

Gently mix the contents of the container with a fork, applying slight pressure to mash half of the diced avocado.
- 7
Step 7

Place the sauce in a small bowl or ramekin, garnish, and serve immediately.
