
Grilled Guacamole
Description
Perfectly complements meat, poultry, and side dishes. Guacamole is a traditional Mexican sauce that is easy to prepare, healthy, and extremely delicious. There are several variations of this sauce, but its main ingredient—avocado—always remains the same. We suggest you try making grilled guacamole. The prepared sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.

1. Preheat a covered or uncovered grill to high heat. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh with a large spoon. Wash and slice the tomatoes. Brush the avocado, tomatoes, and red onion slices with oil and place them on the grill. Grill the vegetables for about 5 minutes per side. Depending on how hot your grill is, this may take from 2 to 7 minutes per side.

2. Transfer the fried avocado to a large bowl.

3. Grate the garlic and squeeze lime juice on top. Mix everything together.

4. Add the chopped onion to the bowl.

5. Slice the tomatoes, removing the seeds and skin. Add to a bowl. Sprinkle chopped cilantro on top and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix all ingredients together, adding spices if necessary. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
