Guacamole
Description
Homemade sauce recipe. Guacamole is made from mashed avocado, chopped onion, chili, herbs, and seasoned with lime or lemon juice. Traditionally served with corn chips, but also works well as a sauce for meat and fish. This sauce will appeal to vegetarians and raw foodists. Serve it with meat, fish, or use as a salad dressing.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Wash the tomato, dry it on a paper towel, and cut it into small cubes. Remove the seeds. If desired, you can also peel it. To do this, dip the tomato in boiling water for a couple of minutes—this makes the skin easier to remove.

Step 2

2. Cut the avocado in half, working around the pit. Twist both halves in opposite directions and "open" the fruit. Scoop out the flesh with a spoon onto a plate and mash with a fork until smooth and creamy.
- 3
Step 3

3. Perform the same procedure with the second avocado.
- 4
Step 4

4. Peel and finely chop the onion. I recommend taking a sip of water and then cutting it.
- 5
Step 5

5. Finely chop the jalapeño or chili pepper. You can use half a pepper, and for those who prefer it spicier, I recommend leaving in the seeds.
- 6
Step 6

6. Place the sliced jalapeño, onion, and avocado flesh into a serving bowl.
- 7
Step 7

7. Squeeze the lime or lemon juice into the bowl. If the citrus is juicy, half will be enough.
- 8
Step 8

8. Add ground cumin.
- 9
Step 9

9. Salt and pepper to taste.

Step 10

10. Mix everything well and add the tomatoes. Gently mix once again and serve with crackers.
