Georgian solyanka
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Georgian-style solyanka has nothing in common with our traditional solyanka. It is beef stewed with tomatoes and herbs. You can also prepare this dish using veal or pork. The most important thing is that the dish should be spicy. My solyanka turned out very tasty, with tender and aromatic meat. It can be served as a standalone dish or with roasted vegetables. The finished dish is ready to be served.
Instructions

Step 1
Cut the beef into 2x2 cm cubes. Finely chop the onion. Place the beef and onion into a pot, add a small amount of water, and simmer over medium heat in a covered pot. Add a little more water if necessary to prevent the meat from burning.

Step 2
If you are using fresh tomatoes, you need to blanch them, peel them, and cut them into cubes. I used canned tomatoes.

Step 3
Add the sliced tomatoes, minced garlic, sliced bell pepper, finely chopped cilantro, and basil to the already tender meat.

Step 4
Mix the mixture and cook for 15 minutes. Season with salt. When ready, remove the solyanka from the heat and let it steep for 30 minutes.
