Pear crumble
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. Crumble is a rather popular dessert that can be made not only with pears but also with apples or berries. It somewhat resembles the crumbly shortbread pies we're used to (often called "crumbs"). To make the crumble, we'll prepare a shortbread dough, use juicy ripe pears, and add some nuts and chocolate. If you can't find oat flour in the store, you can make it yourself by grinding oat flakes in a blender. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cut the frozen butter into cubes. Add a tablespoon of sugar.
- 2
Step 2

Then add the wheat and oat flour, nutmeg, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix everything well.
- 3
Step 3

It is best to knead the dough by hand until it forms a dry, crumbly texture. Add more flour if necessary. Grease the baking pan with a small amount of butter and sprinkle with one tablespoon of sugar. Set aside for now. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees.

Step 4

Wash the pears, remove the stems and seeds. Cut into slices and place in a baking dish.
- 5
Step 5

Sprinkle with shortbread crumbs mixed with chocolate crumbs on top. Place the dough loosely—let the pears "breathe," you can leave gaps.
- 6
Step 6

Top with cashew nuts as a final touch. Bake in the oven for about half an hour. The crumble is ready when golden brown, and you'll know by the aroma that it's time to take it out of the oven.
- 7
Step 7

Let the pear crumble cool slightly before serving.

Step 8

You can serve it by placing it into bowls.
