Pear compote with cinnamon for winter
Description
I'll prepare this pear compote without sterilization, adding lemon juice and cinnamon. If you use ground cinnamon, the taste won't change, but the compot will turn cloudy. See the details below. Serve chilled.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients. Wash the pears. Sterilize two 1.5-liter jars and lids.

Step 2

Boil a syrup from water and sugar. Place 1/2 cinnamon stick into the bottom of each jar. Pack the pears into the jars up to the shoulders. Pour hot syrup over the pears. Cover the jars with lids and let stand for 10 minutes. Drain the syrup back into a saucepan, bring to a boil, and pour it over the pears again. Let stand for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Once again, pour off the syrup, add lemon juice, bring to a boil, and pour the hot syrup over the pears, filling the jar to the top. If there is not enough syrup, add boiling water. Seal the jars, then cool. Store in a cool place.
