Pear clafoutis
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Clafoutis is a French fruit dessert that combines features of a casserole and a pie. The clafoutis batter resembles pancake batter; it is poured over sliced fruit and then baked. Classic clafoutis is made with fresh cherries, including the pits, but nowadays pear, peach, and apple clafoutis are also popular. The traditional clafoutis recipe uses milk, but you can substitute it with cream. The finished dessert can be served at the table.
