
Pear turnovers
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Pears wrapped in parcels. Serve chilled.

Peel the pears completely, cut into small cubes, and sprinkle with lemon juice.

In a skillet, melt the clarified butter, then add the pears. Fry until they turn brown, then add 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar. Cook for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally, until they become caramelized. Set aside.

Finely chop the walnuts.

In a skillet over high heat, add the nuts and 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar.

Stir as soon as the sugar begins to melt, continue until the nuts become caramelized. Set aside.

Take half a sheet of filo pastry and fold it in half to make a long strip.

Place one tablespoon of pear + walnuts at one end of the strip.

Fold the dough into a triangle.

A small piece of dough should remain at the tip.

Moisten this piece with water or egg white and seal the envelope. Repeat this with all 6 sheets of dough. You should end up with 12 envelopes.

Serve on a plate. 3 packets for each guest, decorate with remaining pears and nuts, and surround with pastry cream, for example.
