Description
The recipe won't take much time. Preparing this dish isn't that difficult, especially if you use ready-made puff pastry—it's a real find for every home cook! So, here's the recipe for pears baked in pastry—enjoy! ;)
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Wash the pears and peel them with a sharp knife.
- 2
Step 2

Bring the water to a boil, add sugar and honey to it, and, stirring constantly, bring to complete dissolution.
- 3
Step 3

Place the spices, lemon, and pears into the syrup. Simmer over low heat until the fruit is cooked—readiness can be easily checked with a toothpick or fork: the flesh should be easily pierced. Ripe soft pears may be ready in 10–15 minutes, while firmer fruits will require twice as much time.
- 4
Step 4

Remove the cooked pears from the syrup and let them cool.
- 5
Step 5

Roll out the dough and cut it into strips. Wrap each pear with a strip of dough, and if possible, attach leaf-shaped dough pieces to the stems — they're actually very easy to make and look absolutely stunning after baking! :)
- 6
Step 6

Place the pears on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 180-190°C for about 20 minutes, until the dough turns golden and crispy.
- 7
Step 7

Place the finished pears on a plate with hot syrup, decorate with cinnamon sticks, mint leaves, hot chocolate—well, with whatever your heart desires!
