Chicken breasts in sour cream sauce
Description
Tired of the usual fried chicken or are you on a high-protein diet? I recommend preparing chicken breasts in sour cream sauce (I'm offering you the classic recipe). This dish is very quick to prepare. The meat is marinated in sour cream, although there can be many variations of the marinade—choose according to your taste preferences.

Step 1

1. I suggest a classic recipe for chicken breasts in sour cream sauce – the meat turns out to be incredible. I usually take four breasts to make 2 servings (the meat shrinks during cooking). They cook quickly and only need a short marinating time.

Step 2

2. First, marinate the meat: take low-fat sour cream (preferably 15%), add salt, pepper, and spices to taste, then marinate the chicken breasts. Marinating usually takes no more than half an hour; after that, place them onto a baking sheet or dish greased with vegetable oil.

Step 3

3. While the chicken breasts are waiting their turn, grate the cheese. I use hard varieties—they're better for baking. Grate it on a coarse grater and sprinkle over the chicken breasts. Now place them in the oven for half an hour. The oven temperature should be 170 degrees.

Step 4

4. Serve the chicken breasts with any side dish: rice, buckwheat, mashed potatoes, wheat porridge, etc. Chicken breasts also go well with vegetables.
