
Salted Pork Belly

Rinse the pork belly well under running water and pat dry with a paper towel. Then make cuts every 3–4 cm down to the skin and place garlic in them. You can cut the garlic into small pieces.

Then coat the pork belly on all sides with regular salt. Place it in a bowl and put it under a weight. Refrigerate for 24 hours.

After 24 hours, remove the pork belly and drain the liquid that has released. Rinse the pork belly carefully, but so that the garlic remains.

Mix the spices in a small bowl and rub them over the pork belly. Then place it in a bag, tie it tightly, and put it in the freezer.

After 24 hours, you can take out the salted brisket and taste it. Serve the pork brisket with vegetables or greens alongside black bread or lavash.
