
Grissini (breadsticks)
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. Breadsticks prepared according to this recipe can be served as an appetizer with sauce or as a side to main dishes, for example, salads. These sticks are very convenient to take to work as a quick snack. You can shape them any way you like and decorate not only with sesame seeds, but also with sunflower or even pumpkin seeds. An advantage of this baked good is that it can be stored for a long time in a bread box. The baking is ready. Serve at the table.

1. Mix the sifted flour with salt, olive oil, and water at a temperature of 60-70°C. Knead an elastic dough, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

2. Divide the ready dough into two parts and roll out into rectangles 2-3 mm thick. Cut one rectangle into 1 cm wide strips, twist each into a rope and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

3. Brush the strips with water and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Place in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Cut the second dough layer into 1 cm wide strips, twist and roll into spirals.

4. Place the spirals on a baking sheet, brush with water, and sprinkle with nigella seeds. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for 20 minutes.
