
Mushrooms in creamy sauce
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. You can use any mushrooms you prefer, including frozen or dried ones. This dish goes well with grain side dishes (rice, buckwheat, millet), potatoes (mashed, boiled), or pasta. Serve the dish hot, garnished with fresh herbs. Use whole small mushrooms or cut them into pieces. The dish is ready to be served.

1. Peel the onion and wash it, then cut into large pieces. Place a frying pan on the stove and heat it with a small amount of sunflower oil. Add the onion to the heated surface.

2. Wash the mushrooms and dry them with a paper towel. As soon as you notice the onions turning golden, add the mushrooms, reduce the heat, and cover with a lid. Sauté the mushrooms, periodically uncovering and stirring. Once all the liquid has evaporated, remove the lid and cook for another 7–10 minutes.

3. Add the cream and mix, season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook the mushrooms over low heat for 5–7 minutes. Cover with a lid and turn off the heat.

4. Let the cooked mushrooms sit for a few minutes under a closed lid. Serve the mushrooms in creamy sauce with boiled rice, sprinkled with finely chopped herbs.
