Baked button mushrooms

Description
The recipe won't take much time. I really love serving these mushrooms with creamy mashed potatoes or simply enjoying them as a hot appetizer with various sauces. Stuffed mushrooms also go well as a side dish for chicken. Serve hot.

Wash and dry the mushrooms, carefully separate the stems.

Finely chop the legs, mince the onion and pepper. Sauté everything in oil. First fry the garlic, then add the onion, and finally the mushrooms.

When the liquid has evaporated, add salt, pepper, and aromatic herbs, and sauté for a few more minutes.

Now fill the mushrooms with this mixture.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, sprinkle the mushrooms with grated cheese, and bake for 20 minutes.
