Mushroom muffins with cheese and herbs

Description

Homemade baked goods for tea. Muffins can be not only sweet desserts but also savory. Never tried these? I'll tell you how. Serve with tea or coffee.

    We thoroughly clean and wash the mushrooms. Then we cut them into small pieces.

    And sauté with a minimal amount of vegetable oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    The cheese can be grated on a coarse grater or cut into small cubes.

    Sift the flour into a bowl and add sugar, salt, and baking powder. Mix thoroughly.

    Add the cheese and mushrooms to the flour and mix.

    Wash and dry the herbs, then finely chop them.

    Add the herbs to the bowl with the flour, mushrooms, and cheese, and mix well.

    In a separate container, mix the kefir, egg, and oil with a fork or whisk.

    And add the resulting mixture to the bowl with the remaining ingredients. Mix well. The dough will be quite thick.

    Grease the muffin baking pan with vegetable oil and place the dough in it. This amount of dough is enough for 12 muffins. I didn't grease the pan, but put the dough into parchment paper liners. Because of the melted cheese, the muffins stuck to the paper and didn't come off easily.

    Bake the muffins in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 25–30 minutes. Let the muffins cool slightly in the pan, then remove them.

    This is what the muffins look like when sliced. When hot, they may appear undercooked due to the melted cheese. But warm, they will be very delicious!
