Mushroom sauce with celery

Description

Universal dressing for salads and hot dishes. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Grease a baking dish with oil. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add onion, celery, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Cook, stirring frequently, until onion and celery begin to brown, 12 to 15 minutes. Add mushrooms. Cover and cook until mushrooms release their liquid, 5 to 7 minutes. Remove the lid and continue cooking until the liquid evaporates, 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer to a large bowl and let cool completely. Add bread, broth, parsley, and 3/4 cup water to the bowl; mix well. Season with salt and pepper, then add eggs. Prepare turkey and stuff with the dressing. Place in the baking dish and cover with foil. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking until golden, 20 to 25 minutes. Serve the dressing with meat or fish, or use it as a salad topping.
