Description

Homemade sauce recipe. You can use either dried or fresh mushrooms to make this sauce, but keep in mind that mushrooms should not be subjected to prolonged heat treatment. For a thicker consistency, you can add a bit more flour. Meat dishes, vegetables, and even pasta dishes will become tastier and juicier with this mushroom sauce. Serve the sauce with meat, fish, or use it as a salad dressing.

    Peel the onion, rinse it, and chop into small cubes. Fry the onion in hot vegetable oil until soft.

    Wash the mushrooms, cut off the ends of the stems and remove the film under the caps. Finely chop the mushrooms and add them to the onion.

    Stirring, sauté everything together, adding black pepper and salt, nutmeg, and bay leaf.
