Mushroom sauce for pasta
Description
If desired, you can blend this sauce with a blender to achieve a smoother, more uniform consistency. However, if you prefer to taste each ingredient, I recommend leaving it as is. Serve the sauce with meat, fish, or use it as a salad dressing.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Let's start preparing the mushroom sauce for pasta by preparing all the ingredients. Peel the onion and finely chop it. Clean the mushrooms, rinse them, and slice thinly.
- 2
Step 2
Pour vegetable oil into a hot skillet and start frying the onion. Keep it over heat until the onion turns golden. As soon as this happens, add the sliced mushrooms. Fry everything until the moisture released by the mushrooms evaporates.

Step 3
In a separate skillet, melt the butter and sauté the flour in it. Stir thoroughly to eliminate any lumps. Then add the cream and spices, mixing everything well.

Step 4
Add the sautéed mushrooms and onions to the cream, mix thoroughly, and simmer for another 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens. The mushroom sauce for pasta is ready.
