
Honey Mushroom Pâté
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Mushroom pâté can be made from fresh or frozen honey mushrooms. Either way, it will taste delicious. The appetizer is very delicate and tasty. It is simple to prepare and relatively quick. Serve with fresh bread, croutons, or toast. Serve the appetizer at the table.

Prepare the ingredients for honey mushroom pâté.

Place the honey mushrooms in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, skim off the foam, and cook the mushrooms for 20 minutes. Then drain the water and rinse the cooked honey mushrooms thoroughly.

Peel the onion, wash it, and chop. Place in a skillet.

Peel the carrots, wash them, and grate them. Add them to the onions in the skillet.

Pour in sunflower oil and sauté the onions and carrots for 7–8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Finely chop the boiled honey mushrooms and place them in a skillet with onion and carrot.

Pour in a little water, cover the pan with a lid, and simmer the mushrooms with the onion and carrot for 10–15 minutes over low heat.

Season the honey mushrooms with onion and carrot with salt and pepper to taste, and add minced garlic. Blend until pâté consistency.
