Description

Perfect for the table and with drinks. Learn how to delight your guests and surprise everyone with an original dish. These tartlets are very easy to make; with my recommendations, you will get an amazing mushroom julienne in tartlets. I suggest placing a little chopped fresh herbs in the tartlets, for example: basil, parsley, or dill. I also sometimes drizzle the tartlets with mayonnaise. You can also fry a little ground beef together with the mushrooms. Enjoy.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Take any variety of hard cheese; I use Gouda. Grate the cheese on a fine or coarse grater. Transfer the cheese to a container and cover with plastic wrap so it does not dry out. Peel the onion and rinse under cold running water. Cut it in half, then into rings, then into small thin slices.

    Step 2

Wash the mushrooms and pat them dry. Slice them. Heat a skillet, add a little vegetable oil, and sauté the mushrooms and onion for 10 minutes. Then season the mushrooms with salt and stew them in sour cream until fully cooked.

    Step 3

    Step 3

Once the mushrooms have cooled slightly, it’s time to assemble the tartlets. Place a little julienne in each waffle base and sprinkle cheese on top. Put the appetizer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C. Once the cheese starts to melt, turn off the oven and let the tartlets sit for 3–5 minutes. Done—enjoy.
