French Toast in a Multicooker
Description
Perfect with meals and drinks. The simplest breakfast dish is French toast in a slow cooker. You'll need no more than 10 minutes to make them, and most importantly—kids love this dish! So you can ask them to help you prepare it, for example, by dipping bread slices into egg whisked with milk. Can be served warm or chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the specified ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Crack the chicken eggs into a deep bowl, pour in the milk, and add the salt and granulated sugar. Beat until light and foamy. If desired, add a couple of drops of vanilla extract or a few pinches of vanilla sugar.

Step 3

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and activate the "Sauté" mode for 10 minutes. Dip a couple of slices of white bread into the egg-milk mixture one at a time, coating both sides. Pre-sliced bread works best.

Step 4

Place the egg-dipped slices in the multicooker bowl and fry on one side for about 1 minute.

Step 5

Then, using a fork, carefully flip them to the other side and fry for the same amount of time. Meanwhile, dip the next pair of bread slices in the egg mixture. Continue in this way until you have fried all the French toast in the multicooker.

Step 6

If desired, place them on a paper towel to remove excess fat, then transfer to plates and serve with berries, jam, butter, and hot tea or coffee.
