**French Toast with Chicken Mince**
Description
It works for both special occasions and everyday meals. Crispy, golden-brown toasts with chicken mince are perfect as a standalone dish or as an appetizer to serve with borscht, soup, rassolnik, and the like. Ideally, the mince should not be cold but at room temperature, so it will cook through completely. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Purchase the ground meat or make it at home from chicken fillet or other meaty parts of the chicken.
- 2
Step 2

Crack the chicken eggs into a deep bowl, add a pinch of salt and ground black pepper. Beat the eggs thoroughly with a fork or whisk for 1–2 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Season the chicken mince with salt and pepper and mix. Spread a thin layer of mince on each slice of bread loaf. Do not spread it too thick, or the mince will fall off the bread during frying.
- 4
Step 4

Then heat a skillet with vegetable oil and reduce the heat to medium. Dip the bread roll in the egg, first with the filling side down, then on the other side.
- 5
Step 5

Place the toasts on the skillet with the minced meat side down and fry for about 2–3 minutes until golden brown, then flip to the other side using a silicone spatula and fry for another 2 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Place the toasts with chicken mince on a plate and serve hot. Brew fragrant tea or coffee, or pour warm milk into a glass.
