Oven-Baked Garlic and Cheese Toast
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Even a child can make garlic and cheese toasts in the oven (under parental supervision). This is a simple dish, but at the same time very tasty and aromatic. These toasts go very well with morning coffee or tea on weekends; they’re also very handy at the country house. They’re perfect with a light soup at lunch too. Add a little more garlic and you’ve got a great beer snack. Here’s a simple recipe for garlic and cheese toasts baked in the oven. Serve the appetizer at the table.

Step 4

Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and arrange bread slices on it.
- 5
Step 5

Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater, then carefully sprinkle the bread on the baking sheet with it.

Step 6

Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 10 minutes (or until the cheese topping is golden brown). Bake the toasts on the upper rack of the oven.
