I think croutons for Caesar salad shouldn't take much time. The focus should be on the salad. That's why I toast mine in the microwave—it takes about 5 minutes. They come out crispy and tasty. By the way, you can replace the bouillon cube with salt; I just like a richer flavor. Enjoy your meal. Serve with greens and sauce.

   Prepare all the ingredients. Cut the bread into small cubes.

   Place the bread squares on a plate and microwave for 1–1.5 minutes. Watch that they do not burn.

   Mix the mustard and bouillon cube in a bowl. Then add some lightly toasted croutons and stir. Then put it back in the microwave for 2–3 minutes.
