Buckwheat porridge with dried fruits

Description

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. We can talk a lot about the benefits of buckwheat, which is also the most popular side dish. However, let's admit, you don't often hear about buckwheat with dried fruits—and that's a pity, because this is a very interesting and healthy dish. You can cook buckwheat with dried fruits by boiling them together, or by sautéing the dried fruits with sugar and then adding them to the buckwheat. Either way, it turns out delicious! For preparing buckwheat with dried fruits, I use prunes and dried apricots, as well as some nuts and figs. 1. Rinse the buckwheat thoroughly, pour warm water over it (preferably boiled water), and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes. Then remove from heat. 2. Wash the dried fruits thoroughly and cut them into small pieces (depending on your preference—you can even chop them finely). 3. Grind the nuts in a blender, but not too finely. 4. Dilute honey in warm water—just a couple of tablespoons of water is enough. Soak the nuts in the honey mixture. 5. Now mix the honey-soaked nuts and dried fruits with the buckwheat, stir well, and let it steep for about 15 minutes. I recommend covering the porridge with a towel. Serve the finished buckwheat with dried fruits with fresh berries, if desired. The dish is ready to be served.
