
Buckwheat porridge (simple recipe)

We sort the grain and rinse it several times under cold water. This is done to remove dust and excess particles from the buckwheat.

Pour clean water into a saucepan, add salt, and bring to a boil. As soon as the water boils, add the buckwheat groats and stir thoroughly for 1-1.5 minutes. Periodically skim off the foam that forms on the surface of the pot.

Cover the pot with a lid and reduce the heat to the minimum. Cook for 10 minutes. During this time, the water will be absorbed and the porridge will thicken.

When you achieve the desired result, add a small piece of butter to the buckwheat and cover the pot with a lid. Reduce the heat to the minimum and cook for 7–8 minutes.

Turn off the heat and let the porridge stand covered for 15 minutes. Buckwheat porridge is ready.
