Buckwheat with chicken and mushrooms
Description
Here is a simple recipe for buckwheat with chicken and mushrooms. For this easy dish, I've chosen chicken fillet and wild mushrooms (you can use any other mushrooms, such as button mushrooms or chanterelles). Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs. You can additionally prepare a fresh vegetable salad. Enjoy!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Rinse the chicken fillet and cut into small pieces. Then fry in vegetable oil until a light golden crust forms.
- 2
Step 2

Finely chop the onion and mushrooms. In another skillet, sauté the onion until soft, then add the mushrooms. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring.

Step 3

Transfer the mushrooms with onions to the pan with the chicken. Sprinkle the buckwheat on top.

Step 4

Pour in water until the buckwheat is covered by about 1 cm (ratio: buckwheat to water, 1:2). Add salt and pepper to taste, simmer for 20 minutes until all the water has evaporated.

Step 5

That's it, it's ready! Add a piece of butter, mix and transfer the dish onto plates. Garnish with herbs on top if desired.
