Buckwheat with minced meat in pots
Description
This recipe won't take much time. It's a very simple way to prepare buckwheat with minced meat in clay pots, and absolutely anyone can make it, provided they have a few clay pots on hand. I often experiment and cook something in these wonderful pots, which I inherited from my grandmother. In my experience, it's nearly impossible to ruin the taste of a dish cooked in a clay pot, as long as you follow the proportions. Now I'll gladly share how to make delicious and simple buckwheat with minced meat in clay pots. 1) First, prepare the vegetables: peel the onion and carrot, then wash them. Cut the onion into small cubes and slice the carrot into thin half-rings. Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan and sauté the vegetables. 2) Transfer the sautéed onion and carrot into a separate bowl, then use the same pan to brown the minced meat. 3) Clean the buckwheat from any impurities and rinse it thoroughly. Once the water has drained, mix the buckwheat with the meat and vegetables, then divide the mixture among the clay pots. Keep in mind that buckwheat expands significantly during cooking, so fill each pot only about halfway. 4) Pour boiling water over the mixture until the liquid level is a few centimeters above the ingredients. 5) Cover the pots with their lids and place them in the oven. Set the temperature to 200°C (390°F) and bake for one hour. 6) After the time is up, turn off the oven but leave the pots inside. Let them rest for another 15–20 minutes. As you can see, it's very simple. I highly recommend trying this wonderful recipe—you'll definitely be satisfied. Serve hot.
