
Buckwheat with minced meat, merchant-style

Step 1

First, thoroughly rinse the buckwheat groats. Sort through them to remove any spoiled grains. Then place on a dry skillet and toast over medium heat for about five minutes.

On a second skillet, sauté the carrots and onions in refined sunflower oil. Grate the carrots on a grater and finely chop the onions. When the vegetables turn yellow, add tomato paste and ground meat. Mix well and fry for about five minutes.

Add the washed buckwheat groats to the vegetables and meat. Thoroughly mix all the ingredients in the skillet and reduce the heat to the lowest setting.

Now pour boiling water over the ingredients and simmer for twenty minutes with the lid closed. At the end, add garlic pressed through a garlic press, spices, and salt to taste. This dish should be garnished with fresh herbs and served hot.
