
Greek sandwich
Description
The snack is quick and easy to make. A Greek sandwich is perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a picnic. You can add boiled or roasted chicken, turkey, or lean meat to it. For easier eating, wrap one edge in a napkin or parchment paper. Serve with herbs and sauce.

Prepare the ingredients. Wash and dry the vegetables and salad leaves.

If you take a long baguette, cut off a piece 12–14 centimeters long. Cut it lengthwise into two equal halves. Brush the bottom half with olive oil.

Place lettuce leaves on the bottom half of the baguette.

Slice the tomato into rounds and arrange them overlapping on the lettuce leaves.

Cut the cucumber into rounds and place them on top of the tomatoes.

Peel the red onion and slice it into half-rings. Spread it evenly over the cucumber layer.

Cut the bryndza into slices and arrange on sliced red onion.

Remove the seeds and core from the bell pepper. Cut the pepper into half-rings and place on the sandwich.

Cut the olives and place them on top of the pepper.

Place the second slice of bread on top and press down lightly.
