
Beef tongue in a multicooker
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. This simple recipe for beef tongue in a multicooker is perfect when you want to serve something special as an appetizer instead of store-bought sausage. Or, in cases when you ended up with a tongue while cutting up meat and aren't sure what to do with it. That's why I'm sharing it. The finished dish can be served at the table.

1. Thaw the tongue, rinse it, and cut it in half lengthwise. Remove excess fat and place it in the multicooker bowl. Pour cold water up to the maximum fill line.

2. In "Soup" mode, cook for 2-2.5 hours. Rinse under cold water. Discard the water from the pot.

3. Wash the multicooker bowl, then add all the ingredients (it's better to wash, peel, and chop the onion, carrot, and garlic).

4. Place the tongue on top of the spices, pour clean water up to the upper mark, and cook for another hour in the same mode.

5. Let cool, peel, slice and serve!
