Description
Zrazы are a dish from Lithuanian, Belarusian, Russian, Polish, and Ukrainian cuisines, consisting of a cutlet or a stuffed meat roll. Nowadays, zrazy can be made from a variety of ingredients. Compared to regular cutlets, zrazy stand out due to their filling, which can include cheese, eggs, mushrooms, chicken, or vegetables. Zrazy are a festive dish that will enhance any celebration. They can be served with a variety of side dishes.

Prepare the ingredients.

Pass the meat through a meat grinder together with the onion.

Add breadcrumbs and cream to the minced meat. Reserve 1 tablespoon of cream for brushing the cutlets.

Salt and pepper to taste. Beat the meat mixture well.

Cut the chicken thigh into small cubes.

Cut the butter into cubes.

Divide the minced meat into 10 equal portions. Take a portion of the minced meat and flatten it into a patty. Place a small amount of chicken and a piece of butter inside.

Form the rest of the zrazy in the same way. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

Mix the yolk with 1 tbsp of cream.

Remove the zrazy from the oven, brush them with a mixture of yolk and cream, and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.
