Beef in sauce
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Here is a classic recipe for beef in "Narsharab" sauce. My pomegranate sauce is homemade, not store-bought, so it might not be as spicy as authentic "Narsharab", but it pairs very well with beef. I hope everything turns out well for you. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, prepare the pomegranate sauce: heat pomegranate juice, lemon juice, and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer the sauce for 1.5–2 hours until thickened.

Step 2

Cut the beef into pieces, coat with pomegranate sauce, add mint. Mix everything and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Step 3

Sear the beef in a pan without adding oil. Cook until browned.

Step 4

Now fry the onion in vegetable oil. Place the onion in a blender, add cream, salt, pepper, and a spoonful of flour. Blend the ingredients until smooth, forming a puree.

Step 5

Place the meat in a baking dish and pour the onion sauce over the top. Braise in the oven for 2 hours at 160 degrees.

Step 6

Garnish the dish with herbs and pomegranate seeds when serving.
