Beef with mushrooms in a multicooker
Description
Beef is a very tasty and nutritious meat, but it's quite difficult to cook it so that it turns out tender and juicy, since it needs to be simmered or baked in the oven for a long time. I've found a much more convenient and quicker option for myself, and if you're interested, I'd be happy to share it.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and set it to the "Frying" mode. Cut the meat into small pieces, sprinkle with ground pepper, and fry in the oil, stirring, for 5 minutes.
- 2
Step 2

Slice the onion into half-rings and add to the multicooker with the meat. Mix and fry for about a minute.
- 3
Step 3

Slice the potatoes into thin slices, salt them, and place them on top of the meat.
- 4
Step 4

Then arrange the mushrooms around the perimeter, and season them with salt and pepper.
- 5
Step 5

I had ready-made béchamel sauce, so I spread it all over, but instead of béchamel you can use some sour cream-based sauce or pour in half a cup of cream.
- 6
Step 6

Sprinkle everything with cheese grated on a coarse grater.
- 7
Step 7

Close the multicooker lid and cook the meat with mushrooms on "High Pressure" for 30 minutes, which is sufficient. Serve the finished dish on plates, garnish with fresh herbs, and bring to the table.
