Beef in pomegranate sauce
Description
This recipe won't take much time. For those tired of regular meat dishes and looking to try something new and interesting, I suggest this recipe for beef in pomegranate sauce. In my opinion, this dish is simply excellent—it's quite easy to prepare, and the meat turns out tender and juicy, with a refined pomegranate flavor. I use ready-made pomegranate sauce, which is available in all major supermarkets, so all I need to do is marinate the meat in it, sear it, and then bake it in the oven. As you can see, there's nothing complicated here, and you can easily and quickly prepare beef in pomegranate sauce at home, delighting your entire family. Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

First, we rinse the beef under running water and dry it with paper towels, then cut the meat into small cubes, 2-2.5 cm wide.
- 2
Step 2

Place the meat in a bowl and pour pomegranate sauce over it, mix everything and let the beef marinate for 2 hours.

Step 3

After the time has passed, we pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it. Place the beef (without marinade) into the heated oil and fry until excess moisture has evaporated. Then continue cooking the beef, stirring constantly, until a fragrant caramelized crust forms on the meat.

Step 4

As soon as all the meat is coated with pomegranate caramel, transfer it to a baking dish.

Next, pour a little oil into a clean frying pan and sauté sliced onion in it until golden brown.

Step 6

Then we clear a space in the middle of the pan and pour in the flour, frying it for just about a minute.

Step 7

Pour hot boiled water (about 1 liter) into the frying pan, mix everything, add salt and spices to taste. Stir the sauce thoroughly to ensure there are no lumps of flour left.
- 8
Step 8

Pour the prepared sauce over the meat in the baking dish, cover with a lid, and place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. Bake the beef for 40–50 minutes.
