Beef stewed with kefir
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. It goes perfectly with any porridge, mashed potatoes, or a vegetable salad. This recipe works for cooking meat either in a multicooker or on a skillet. First, sear the beef with vegetables, then simmer it in kefir for about an hour. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped dill (it pairs perfectly with the white sauce). The dish is now ready to be served.

Step 1

1. Once I prepared beef using this recipe, and since then I only cook meat this way. You can use kefir of any fat content. The only thing without which it's impossible to prepare juicy meat is the sauce.
- 2
Step 2

2. Chop the onion and carrots, and in the meantime, prepare the multicooker. You can also cook this dish in a regular frying pan.
- 3
Step 3

3. Grease the multicooker bowl with vegetable oil and sauté the onion and carrots there.
- 4
Step 4

4. Cut the beef into cubes, salt and season to taste. Let it sit for a while while the vegetables are frying.

Step 5

5. When the onion and carrots begin to turn golden, add the sliced beef, mix well, and fry (in a pan for about 10 minutes) in the multicooker using the "Sauté" mode for about 10 minutes.

Step 6

6. Do not forget to periodically stir the meat with the vegetables.

Step 7

7. Then pour in the kefir and begin simmering. In a multicooker, select the "Simmering" mode for 50 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

8. Finely chop the dill and add it just before serving.
- 9
Step 9

9. While the beef is stewing, you can prepare a side dish. I decided to go with something simple and made buckwheat porridge. Don't forget to sprinkle the beef with fresh herbs before serving.
