Beef stewed with potatoes in a multicooker

Description

The recipe won't take much time. Meat with potatoes is always delicious for both lunch and dinner. And tender stewed meat is even tastier—wouldn't you agree? With a multicooker, we can easily prepare this simple dish. Beef always takes longer to cook than chicken or pork, which is why many home cooks rarely choose beef. But it's so tasty—let's cook it in a multicooker! You might need to start preparing lunch a bit earlier, but what a delicious dish you'll get! I'll tell you how. Serve hot.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients. Wash the meat and cut it into small pieces. Peel the onion and carrot. Grate the carrot on a coarse grater or chop into pieces, finely chop the onion.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, set the "Frying" mode for 20 minutes. Allow the multicooker to heat up, then add the meat and vegetables. Stir and fry until the program ends. Then season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Peel and cut the potatoes into pieces. I don't recommend cutting them too small, otherwise the potatoes will become too soft. Add the potatoes to the meat, pour in a glass of water, add sour cream and bay leaf. Close the multicooker lid and set it to the "Stewing" or "Baking" mode. Cook for about 1.5 hours; if using the "Baking" program, cook for a shorter time—around 45–50 minutes. Five minutes before the program ends, stir the meat and potatoes and finish cooking.
