Description

This recipe won't take much time. I don't know about others, but for me cooking beef has always been a problem. I've tried everything, yet it always turns out tough—just terrible. Recently, though, my mom suggested this simple recipe for beef stewed in a clay pot, and I decided to give it a try—after all, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Of course, I had to buy some clay pots for the occasion; they're essential. Well, I'm not sure what the secret is, but the beef really does turn out incredibly tender and soft—absolutely delicious. Now, thrilled by this successful experiment, I cook almost everything in clay pots—side dishes, soups, stews—everything comes out tasty, and honestly, anything made in clay pots has a special, unique flavor of its own. And if you've never cooked anything in these little clay helpers before, I'd be happy to show you how to make stewed beef in a clay pot. In my opinion, it's a perfect recipe for your first try. Serve hot.

First, prepare the ingredients: finely chop the onion, cut the beef into cubes about 2-3 centimeters in size, and mix them together.

Now pour a little vegetable oil into the casserole dish and add the meat with onions. Cover the dish with a lid; if there's no lid, cover it with foil, but be sure to seal it properly. Place the casserole dish into a cold oven and set the temperature to 180 degrees. Braise the beef for approximately 2 hours.

When the cooking time is almost up, mix sour cream, mustard, and flour in a separate bowl. Add spices and salt, and stir thoroughly. Then pour this mixture over the contents of the pot and cook everything together for another half hour. The finished dish goes well with any side dish, so serve it up and enjoy your meal. Bon appétit!
