
Beef stewed with cauliflower
Description
The process itself is quite simple, so the recipe is perfect even for cooking beginners. It's very important not to overcook the cabbage so that it doesn't turn into a puree. Besides cabbage, you can add other vegetables to the recipe—such as carrots or bell peppers. The dish is quite filling and can be served with or without a side.

2. Wash the meat and cut it into cubes. Add chopped onion, salt, spices, and wine. Mix well and let marinate for a couple of hours. Then transfer to a frying pan and simmer over low heat for about half an hour. Transfer to a heavy-bottomed pot, add butter and a glass of water. Simmer over low heat for 1–1.5 hours until tender.

3. Wash the cauliflower, dry it, separate into florets and cut if necessary. Cover with water (cold!) and let stand for 10-15 minutes.

4. Dry the cabbage and place it in a pan with heated vegetable oil. Fry over high heat until a crust forms, stirring gently. Transfer the cabbage to the meat and simmer together for the last 5-6 minutes.
