
Beef with sour cream
Description
Beef goes very well with sour cream. But to make the sauce rich and the meat more flavorful, I also add mushrooms. For beef with sour cream, the best choice is button mushrooms, although you can add a bit of white mushrooms as well. Don't forget about spices—herbes de Provence work perfectly, or any meat seasoning. See the detailed recipe below.

Prepare the ingredients. Wash the meat.

Cut the meat into cubes and fry in a pan until golden brown.

Fry the onion, sliced into half-rings, separately.

Clean and slice the mushrooms, add to the onion.

When the mushrooms are fried, add them to the meat. Pour in water, cover with a lid, and simmer for about an hour.

Mix sour cream with flour.

Add a little boiling water to it, then pour this sauce over the meat and simmer over medium-low heat for 30-30 minutes, until thickened. Serve the ready beef with sour cream alongside vegetables, such as green beans or potatoes.
