Japanese-style beef
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. In my opinion, this is a wonderful dish that I first tried in a restaurant. Although I'm not particularly fond of Japanese cuisine, I liked it so much that now I cook it quite often. I especially enjoy surprising guests with the classic Japanese-style beef recipe—everyone is absolutely delighted. The ingredients here are so perfectly matched that the flavor is simply amazing, and the sesame adds even more intrigue to the dish. But as they say, it's better to try it once, so here's the Japanese-style beef recipe just for you. The dish is ready to be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cut the beef into strips across the grain of the meat. Each strip should be about 1-1.5 centimeters wide.

Step 2

In some versions of this recipe, beef is soaked in mineral water for 1 day, but I don't do this, and it still turns out delicious. So, now the meat is sliced, and we heat oil in a skillet. Sear the beef in it until some of the liquid has evaporated. Then add the onion.

Step 3

Sear the meat with onions over fairly high heat until the onions turn golden, then add sesame seeds.
- 4
Step 4

Then add the sliced bell pepper. Fry everything together for a few minutes.
- 5
Step 5

Now you can place the sliced cabbage.

Step 6

Reduce the heat to low and simmer until the cabbage is fully cooked. Salt is not used in the original recipe; the finished dish is simply drizzled with soy sauce. Enjoy your meal!
