Beef in Eastern style
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Although I don't cook this oriental-style beef at home very often—only on special occasions—I still want to share this wonderful recipe with you. This meat, with its appealing appearance, amazing aroma, and incredible taste, can turn an ordinary dinner into a real celebration. As with all Eastern dishes, this recipe for oriental-style beef features that perfect balance of spicy and sweet. Trust me, once you've prepared this beef, you'll make your everyday life a bit brighter and richer. 1) Start by taking a deep bowl and pouring in the sherry and soy sauce. Add brown sugar, cornstarch, and grated ginger, then mix everything thoroughly. 2) Rinse the beef, dry it, cut into strips, place into the prepared marinade, and mix well. 3) Peel the onion and slice it into half-rings. 4) Place a skillet over high heat and heat the peanut or olive oil in it. Add the green beans and stir-fry for 45–60 seconds, stirring constantly, then transfer them to a clean plate. 5) Add a portion of the beef and a handful of onions to the skillet and stir-fry until the meat develops a nice brown crust. Then transfer it to a separate plate. Fry the meat and onions in small batches until all is cooked. 6) Return all the cooked meat to the skillet, add the green beans and the marinade used for the beef, mix everything together, and heat over high heat for about half a minute. 7) Finally, add ground red pepper, season with salt, and serve. Enjoy your meal! The dish is ready to be served.
