Grilled beef
Description
The truth is, the recipe for grilled beef is so simple it's almost laughable. We won't be using any marinade here—just the meat itself, ground pepper, and salt. Since beef, especially marbled beef, is not cheap, it would be a shame to ruin its natural flavor with various additives. The beef pieces are simply grilled to the desired doneness, and only then do we season them with salt and pepper. That's the entire simplicity of this grilled beef recipe.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, take the meat out of the refrigerator and leave it on the counter to come to room temperature. After that, cut the beef into fairly thick pieces.
- 2
Step 2

Each piece of meat should be about two fingers wide.

Step 3

The meat is basically ready, so it's time to deal with the grill. First, clean its grates, then light the fire. Pour a little vegetable oil onto a plate and dip half an onion into it. Before placing the meat on the grill, thoroughly wipe the grates with this oil-soaked onion.

Step 4

Now we send the beef to the grill and cook it, turning it fairly often.

Step 5

Everyone cooks meat according to their preferences, but it's customary to serve it well-seared on the outside while still red inside. You can check the doneness of beef by cutting into it with a knife.

Step 6

Place the ready pieces of beef on a plate and serve with a pepper shaker and salt shaker.
