Cooking in a thermos
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. You can take food in a thermos to work if you don't have the opportunity to reheat it on site. Any dish in a thermos retains its temperature for a long time, whether it's porridge, soup, or tea. If you don't like buckwheat porridge, you can prepare rice, oatmeal, millet, or other types in the same way. The finished dish can be served at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Rinse the buckwheat in several changes of water, removing debris and black grains. Transfer the grain to a thermos and add a little salt, making sure there is enough space for the porridge to expand when it swells.

Step 2
Boil water in a kettle and pour the boiling water over the buckwheat in a thermos. Close the lid tightly and leave overnight (about 6 hours).

Step 3
After the required time has passed, open the lid and you can add butter to the buckwheat. You can eat the buckwheat directly from the thermos while hiking or transfer it to a plate.
