Description

Instructions
- 1
Step 1

If you don't really like raw onion in dishes, you can marinate it the way I do. Peel the onion, slice it into thin quarter rings, add vinegar, and pour boiling water over it for about 5 minutes.
- 2
Step 2

The salmon for the sandwich is lightly salted, home-cured. Cut the fish into small pieces.
- 3
Step 3

Add grain mustard, finely chopped dill, and a little lemon juice to the fish and mix. If you want a spicier filling, add a little hot sauce.
- 4
Step 4

Whisk the egg with the milk with a fork until smooth.
- 5
Step 5

Spread butter on two slices of white bread. Spread the fish filling on the remaining slices.
- 6
Step 6

Squeeze the onion free of marinade and place it on the fish.
- 7
Step 7

Cover with a slice of bread, butter side down.
- 8
Step 8

And dip well in the egg-and-milk mixture.
- 9
Step 9

Place on a skillet preheated with olive oil and fry over medium-high heat.
- 10
Step 10

The bottom of the sandwich has browned nicely; flip it over and toast the other side.
- 11
Step 11

And while the sandwiches are still hot, you can enjoy a tasty snack!
