Hot Belgian Chocolate

Prepare all the ingredients.

Coarsely chop the chocolate with a knife.

Pour the milk into a saucepan or pot. Bring to a boil and remove from the heat.

Add chocolate.

Stir until it begins to dissolve.

Using a blender or mixer, beat the milk with chocolate until a fluffy foam forms. At this stage, you can add brandy to the chocolate.

Whip the cream with powdered sugar separately until soft peaks form.

Pour the chocolate into a glass or mug. Top with whipped cream. You can simply spoon it on top or use a piping bag with a nozzle. Sprinkle with grated chocolate or cocoa powder on top, if desired. Your hot Belgian chocolate is ready!
